Places To Stay
Koroit is located half way between Warrnambool and Port Fairy, and slightly inland. It sits on the edge of the beautiful extinct volcano -Tower Hill. Koroit has a strong Irish heritage, which is still evident in the houses, pubs, and people.
Koroit is a very peaceful place to stay for all year round, and can provide a haven in the summer periods from the busy coastal towns. It is a fairly small town, and is easy to walk around to see the sites. Magnificent views can be found from the top of Tower Hill overlooking Warrnambool and Port Fairy.
There are several festivals throughout the year, with the highlight being the Irish Music Festival.
Koroit is in a central location on the Book Trail, with all shops within 1 hours drive.
